Terms of Service

Last updated: August 31, 2026

These terms govern your use of jointhrivewell.com, operated by ThriveWell PLLC (“ThriveWell,” “we,” “us”). By using the site, you agree to them.

Not medical advice

The evidence, summaries, and AI Evidence Assistant responses on ThriveWell are for general educational purposes only. They are drawn from published research and are never a diagnosis, treatment recommendation, or substitute for care from a qualified clinician. Nothing on the general site creates a patient relationship. A patient relationship is created only through an actual booked and confirmed 1:1 consultation, and only with respect to that consultation.

Who can use ThriveWell

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or request a consultation. Consultations are currently available only to patients located in Texas, consistent with our current licensure.

Accounts

You’re responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for anything that happens under your account. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized access.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the site to obtain a diagnosis, prescription, or treatment outside of a properly booked consultation;
  • Scrape, systematically extract, or resell content from the site;
  • Attempt to access accounts, systems, or data that aren’t yours;
  • Use the site in any way that violates applicable law.

Content and evidence grading

Evidence gradings and summaries reflect the published research available to us at the time of review. Research evolves, and a grading reflects our best current reading of it, not a permanent verdict. We never fabricate a citation, statistic, or study, and we say so plainly when the evidence for a question doesn’t exist yet.

Intellectual property

The ThriveWell name, site design, and original written content belong to ThriveWell PLLC. The underlying research we cite belongs to its original authors and publishers — we link to and credit it, we don’t claim it.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

ThriveWell is provided “as is.” We work hard to keep evidence accurate and current, but we don’t guarantee the site will be error-free or uninterrupted. To the extent permitted by law, ThriveWell PLLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the general content on this site. This limitation does not apply to care actually provided through a booked clinical consultation, which is governed by the standard of care applicable to that relationship, not by this website disclaimer.

Changes to these terms

If we make a material change, we’ll update the date at the top of this page and notify account holders by email.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
